SABAI: live acoustic duo - music for weddings, parties and social events

Sarah's professional singing career began at a young age, singing with her family at church and in school choirs. She soon took up the flute and these two instruments have remained her first choice as her career has progressed. In 2006 she completed a music degree at Southampton University, specialising in voice. Some of her other musical activites during this time included a Classical trio, Contemporary Vocal Duo and writing music for a student run theatre performance.

Since 2007 Sarah has sung with various duos and bands at functions, parties, concerts and festivals, often raising money for one of the charities close to her heart. Currently settled in Purley, near Croydon, Sarah hosts and performs at a variety of functions and, currently planning her own wedding is aware of the numerous tasks this preparation ensures! Her knowledge and understanding of this special time ensures Sabai's service is professional, reliable and individually catered to your needs.

As well as singing with Sabai Sarah is also a member of S.I.N.G, a local a capella choir, and is just about to finish an MA training in Music Therapy and will continue this career alongside her love of singing in the Summer.

Jon started his musical career at a young age, singing and playing guitar in several bands. In 2006 he completed a BA Music degree at Southampton University, specialising in performance and composition. During this time, Jon was involved in many bands with a variety of genres and gigged the Southampton circuit constantly.

Since 2007, Jon has played in a variety of function bands, Trios and Duos around the country and has played many functions, parties, arenas and festivals. He now lives in South Croydon where he runs his own guitar, vocal and beatboxing tuition and has setup charity beat-boxing workshops around the area.

Last year Jon took a year out to tour with a well known (seventies) rock band "Zhain" as their frontman. This experience lead him to tour all over the UK and Los Angeles. It also rsulted in Jon supporting Ariel Bender (Mott the Hoople, Stealers Wheel) in a small London tour.

Jon has been engaged for a couple of years now and completely understands the planning and pressures of making your wedding perfect for you.
